This exciting reemergence of the Ivory-Billed Woodpecker Rediscovered in Arkansas, a bird thought to be extinct in the U.S. for 60 years, made my day. Thanks to The View From My Window for the link, in A Good Day For Birders!
Yesterday the Four of Wands came up in a reading with the Crystal Tarot. Later the King of Wands appeared in a separate reading with the same deck. Both cards have lions in their images. This sent me on a search of other lions in this particular deck, and of course I looked next at the Strength card. Finally I noticed there’s a lion’s head in the World card. These lions set me to thinking about the significance of the lion as a symbol. (more…)
Here’s a site, maintained by the Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology (IRIS), that shows recent seismic activity. Note the pattern in the western Pacific and southeast Asia. You have to wonder what the planet is up to. There’s a lot going on there.
